Mr. Chong is the Singtel Group Chief Technology Officer. He was Singtel’s Chief Executive Officer, International, from January 2013 to March 2017.

He is the current Chairman of Bridge Alliance, Asia Pacific’s leading mobile alliance of 34 premier operators, serving close to 900 million customers.

From Oct 2010 to January 2013, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS), the Group’s associate in Thailand.

He joined Singtel in 1997 and has held various executive positions in sales and marketing as well as being Executive Vice President of Networks. He had a previous assignment in Thailand from 1999 to 2000. Before Singtel, he was a member of the Singapore Administrative Service from 1990 to 1997.

Mark represented Singtel on the Boards of Globe Telecom, Bharti Infratel, OpenNet, CSLox(Thailand) and other submarine cable joint venture companies.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering and Master in Research in Electronic Systems from ENSERG, Grenoble, France, on a Singapore Government scholarship. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is a senior fellow with the Singapore Computer Society.

Mr Bill Chang, 53, was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Group Enterprise on 16 July 2012. He leads the infocomm and technology (ICT) team, providing solutions to enterprise customers. He also assumed the role of Country Chief Officer Singapore on 1 October 2014, as principal liaison with local and regulatory bodies.

Bill joined Singtel in November 2005 as Executive Vice President of Corporate Business and subsequently as Managing Director, Business Group.

Bill is the co-chair of the Future Jobs and Skills sub-committee of the Committee on the Future Economy of Singapore as well as a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ International Advisory Technology Governance and Innovations Panel. He also sits on the Board of Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore and has been appointed as a Trustee of the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Bill has won multiple recognitions including the Public Service Star in conjunction with National Day Honours, the Singapore Computer Society’s IT Leader of the Year award in 2017, and the honorary Fellow of the Society in 2014.

Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University, Australia and attended the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Geok Chwee is the Chief Executive Officer of Bridge Alliance. Bridge Alliance is an alliance of 34 premier telecommunication service providers covering Asia, Middle East and Africa. She oversees the strategy and operation of Bridge Alliance, delivering regional initiatives that enable Bridge Alliance telco members to collaborate as close partners, delivering cross border solutions for Multi-national corporations, serving more than 900 million mobile subscribers.

With more than 20 years of experience in the info-communications industry, Geok Chwee has extensive experience in managing the incubation, development and launch of new technologies and businesses in the enterprise sector. She championed the incubation of emerging growth businesses focusing on Platform-as-a-Service, Internet of Things, and Big Data analytics, with responsibilities spanning business development, product development, product management and product marketing.

Geok Chwee is a technology evangelist who believes in open collaboration with partners and customers, co-creating value-driven innovation to advance new growth engines.

Geok Chwee holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom and a Doctor of Innovation from Singapore Management University.

Tao Zhang is the VP of Overseas Mobility Business Department at China Telecom Global. He manages global MVNO business in multiple countries worldwide. He also oversees a broad range of mobility portfolio including China Telecom’s global roaming products and cross-border IOT business.

Before his current role, Tao was Director of China Telecom’s international carrier wholesales business in various global markets. Tao has over 20 years of international business experience with 10+ years working aboard in the UK and Hong Kong. He holds MBA and LLM academic degrees to support his business adventures.

Chris Mitchell is Managing Director of Optus Enterprise, providing comprehensive and integrated ICT solutions including mobile, voice and data services; cloud; cyber security; IT services; professional consulting and managed services to household name businesses, key Federal/State Government Departments, and Local Government. 

Prior to joining Optus in July 2019, Chris spent many years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in senior leadership roles, the last being Global COO of PwC’s Worldwie Consulting Competency Centres which provided thought leadership and deep subject matter expertise and solutions for clients in Cyber Security, Enterprise Applications and Transformation, Technology Advisory Services, Digital Operations (IoT), Intelligent Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Agile. 

Previously, Chris was Managing Director of EDS in Australia and New Zealand as well as President for EDS Strategic Technology Service in the USA. Prior to this, Chris was a Vice President in A.T. Kearney responsible for Asia Pacific Communications practice.

Dr. Lee Kang-Won is Vice President and Head of Cloud Labs at SK Telecom. 

In this role, he spearheads the company’s R&D efforts in cloud technologies to further expand the 5G service portfolio to enhance customer experience and strengthen SK Telecom’s leadership in the global 5G scene. 

At present, Dr. Lee is actively leading the development of mobile edge cloud (MEC) technologies, which allow for optimal provision of ultra-low latency 5G services such as cloud gaming, smart factories, and autonomous driving.

Dr. Lee has been working closely with global ICT players including Deutsche Telekom, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, Intel, and NVIDIA to accelerate innovations in 5G edge cloud. He also played an integral role in launching ‘Global MEC Task Force’ with Bridge Alliance Member Operators to expand the 5G edge cloud ecosystem. 

Dr. Lee had also driven the company’s digital transformation of network infrastructure using open technologies such as software-defined networking (SDN), OpenStack and open hardware.

Prior to joining SK Telecom in 2014, Dr. Lee served as Research Manager at the IBM Watson Research Center in New York for 14 years, contributing to IBM’s key software products such as Informix and Tivoli. 

Dr. Lee holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from Seoul National University and earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne (UIUC). He is an ACM distinguished scientist and IEEE senior member.

Mr. Norioki Sekiguchi is the VP of Global Business Division at SoftBank, and Managing Director of S and BTS Global K.K. He has more than 18 years of extensive experience in the telecom industry. He has strong leadership and management skills and creates new businesses with inventive approach. He also has more than 10 years of experience in financial and management internal training. He also held roles at Cable & Wireless IDC and Sumitomo Bank. 

Norioki holds a Finance MBA at Waseda University.

Ben Gesing is a global innovation leader with 7+ years of experience developing technical solutions in the logistics, telecommunications, and consumer electronics industry. Today he leads the Trend Research activities at the DHL Innovation Center near Bonn, Germany. He and his team are responsible for shaping the overall innovation agenda at Deutsche Post DHL Group through producing industry trend reports and piloting cutting edge technologies like artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics in live logistics operations together with startups.

Boon Chee is the Senior Vice President of Roaming and Products at Bridge Alliance. He is responsible for the alliance’s roaming and product development, with strong experience in roaming, innovation, emerging technologies, business development and partnerships.  

Prior to joining Bridge, he spent more than 26 years in the telecommunications & ICT business.  He was most recently leading the Product and Innovation Group in a fast growing digital services mobile operator in Indonesia, Smartfren, as well as held various management roles in Singtel, Starhub and Telkomsel leading product development, IoT, project deliveries, advanced communications digital services and regional businesses.

Boon Chee holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Nanyang Technological University in 1993 and Master of Science (Management) degree from Stanford University in 2004.

Peter Maquera is the Senior Vice President for Enterprise Group at Globe Telecom Inc. He has significant experience in building and transforming companies, from early stage development to market leadership. Prior to joining Globe, Peter was Deputy CEO and Director of LiveIt Investments Ltd., Ayala Corporation’s holding company for its investments in Business Process Outsourcing.

Before LiveIt, Peter was CEO and Director of SPI Technologies, a highly awarded industry leader in the publishing and healthcare markets.

Peter completed his studies in the US with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

As Managing Director for Singtel Enterprise Business, Seng Kong is responsible for managing the enterprise business covering all aspects of sales, marketing, product and delivery.

Prior to joining Singtel, Seng Kong was with Datacraft, a well-established IT services and solutions company. He holds various positions such as General Manager, Managing Director and Regional Director during his tenure there. His last role with Datacraft was Regional Director, ASEAN, where he was managing several ASEAN entities of the company including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore.

Seng Kong started his career with IBM Singapore as Account Manager where he was responsible for the sales and account management functions.

Seng Kong attended the Stanford-National University of Singapore Executive Program and holds a Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Dharma Simorangkir lead the Enterprise business in Telkomsel since 2019. The vision is to position Telkomsel Enterprise to be the largest Mobility Digital Transformation Provider in Indonesia by 2025. To achieve the vision, the Enterprise business revamped its portfolio to deliver Digital Connectivity, Digital Services and Digital Platform. The new portfolio approach will bring Digital Transformations initiatives carried out by Enterprises in Indonesia to be more accessible and affordable. This approach has proven to bring significant growth in Telkomsel Enterprise business in the last two years, including during the year of pandemic and establishing Telkomsel Enterprise as a renowed provider of digital technology in Indonesia.

Based in Delta Partner’s Singapore office, Vinod is a Senior Managing Director with almost 20 years of management consulting experience. His experience spans across multiple regions and markets including Asia, Western Europe, United Kingdom and South Africa, mainly serving clients in the telecoms, media and tech (TMT) sector. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Vinod holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai. Vinod is fluent in English and Hindi. 

Vincent is a Senior Managing Director in Delta Partners’ Singapore office. He specialises in corporate strategy, commercial and digital strategy, customer value management and business transformation. Mr. Stevens has close to 15 years of advisory experience, across multiple regions and markets including Asia Pacific, Middle East and South Africa, mainly serving clients in the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) industry.​

Based in Singapore, Sam is a Senior Managing Director with more than 13 years’ telecoms, media, technology and sports experience in advisory and industry roles. His primary focus is management consulting and serving clients in Asia and globally, with expertise spanning definition and implementation of Telco growth strategies, convergence, commercial partnership development, and international wholesale / submarine networks.

Sam has extensive experience helping telecoms, media, technology and sports companies with growth strategy definitions, going-to-market, commercial partnership definition and commercial due diligence. He has worked across Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East with businesses ranging from start-ups to incumbents. Sam has also helped to form and lead the ITW Global Leaders Forum, the executive forum of the international wholesale carrier industry which exists to drive collaborative initiatives and thought leadership within the sector.

Prior to joining Delta Partners, Sam was a Partner with Redshift Strategy and Strategy Director at GSMA where he worked with global mobile operators to develop the industry’s strategic roadmap.  He has also held commercial roles with Virgin Media as well as in consulting with Greenwich Consulting and Spectrum Strategy Consultants.

Sam has a BA and MA (Oxon) from Oxford University where he studied PPE. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.

Pai Achuth is the Associate Director of Group Sourcing and Innovation Projects. Bridge Alliance is an alliance of 34 premier telecommunication service providers covering Asia, Middle East and Africa. He drives cross-border collaboration initiatives and platforms leveraging on the latest technologies such as edge computing and 5G.

Over the last ten years at Bridge Alliance, Pai has driven synergy projects within the alliance covering various revenue generating and cost optimization initiatives and has provided consulting to alliance functions in roaming, enterprise, and IoT.

Pai has over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications/ ICT industry working in various capacities with both technology vendor and service provider. Pai was previously the Director, SE Asia for Global Support Services at Dilithium Networks leading the customer engagement, pre-sales and project deliveries.

Pai graduated from University of Kerala with a Bachelor of Technology in 2002, and obtained his Master of Science, Communications Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in 2005.

The ZX81 Sinclair, that’s where it all started for Sebastiaan. After programming his first video game at the age of six, he eventually found a bigger passion for gaming through the IBM Personal Computer, playing floppy disk games like Prince of Persia. When Sebastiaan turned 18 at the start of the millennium, while the beta phase of CS:GO was just launched, he ran the largest online Counter-Strike community with over 30,000 members. As he was running the community, he got his degree in BSc Computer Science and Engineering. Right after college, Sebastiaan co-founded a web development agency in the Netherlands. A few years later, he co-founded Signkick – United Kingdom’s largest platform for local outdoor advertising on billboards and bus stops. Signkick raised several rounds of capital through angel investors. He also co-founded the fintech company TailOffers, a cashback app for consumers eating at restaurants, in collaboration with Starling Bank.

A few years ago, Sebastiaan launched a proof of concept for the gaming industry, a small project that later on turned into Gameye – the future’s largest digital playgrounds provider.

Sebastiaan likes to spend his free time playing Facepunch Rust with his younger brother. Being a huge fan of the technical side of gaming and hardware, he also has his own server room which now contains more servers than the Gameye office.

His favourite quote is: “Your #1 asset in life is your own network”. He believes you can reach your business goals by either having enough money or by using your network to get what you want.

Juan Carlos is SVP Technology Innovation and Ecosystem at Telefonica global CTIO unit, leading technical projects like Edge Computing, Private Networks or Network Slicing. He leads the Technology Innovation Plan and oversees Telefonica’s participation in standardization bodies and industry fora (O-RAN, ETSI, 3GPP, etc). He represents Telefonica at the GSMA Technology Group and at Telecom Infra Project Board and chairs GSMA Telco Edge Cloud taskforce and 5TONIC Steering Board (Telefónica’s 5G ecosystem lab).

He has taken other VP positions at Telefonica GCTIO unit along the years:  Technology and Architecture (2017-19), Radio Access (2016-17), Transport Optimization (2015-16), Operations and Plans (2010-11), Transport, Architecture and Plans (2008-9), Fixed Access (2006-7).

He works in different Telefonica companies along his career: VP Engineering Access & Transport Telefónica Germany (2011-14), director Technical & Business Development Telefonica Data Europe (Italy 2000-2, Germany 2003-5), Manager Operations & Resources Telefonica Latam (1998-2000), Senior R&D Engineer Telefonica R&D (1990-97). He works during 1997 at BellCore Labs (NJ, USA) in TINA-C, an international research project.

He has a Telecom Engineering degree at the Politechnical University of Madrid and works as associate professor of Computer Science at Carlos III University in Madrid, from 1990 till 1997.

Kevin has over 20 years of working experience in leading various IT and Networks transformation programmes. He is currently leading the development of end-to-end network strategy and architecture framework such Network-as-a-Service in Singtel and Optus. He also engages Singtel’s regional associates as shareholders and partners on 5G and digital platform technology to drive group network collaboration and synergy.

Kevin holds a Bachelor Engineering Degree (Hon) in Electronics Engineering from University of Nottingham, UK as well as the Master of Business Administration (Nanyang Fellows) from Nanyang Technology University.

Sangho Shin, is working on developing an MEC platform at 5G Cloud Labs in SK Telecom.

Prior to join SK Telecom, he worked at LG for three years and Software R&D Center in Samsung for six years as a senior researcher. He also worked at ON.Lab (ONF) as a visiting scholar and contributed to developing the ONOS SDN controller.

He received his Bachelor of Science from Korea University and received his master’s degree and Ph.D in Computer Science from Columbia University. 

Wesley Kuo is a serial entrepreneur who founded i@Solution, providing Java-based software solution for mobile application, which was sold Aplix of Japan in 2004.  Later, Wesley founded Ubitus, specializing in cloud-based video processing and streaming technology. Consequently, Wesley focused the company on cloud gaming and became the exclusive cloud gaming solution provider of game companies like Nintendo, and telecom operators like Korea Telecom, China Mobile in Hong Kong, and Fareastone in Taiwan. Under Wesley’s leadership, Ubitus continues to engage new telecom and cable operators worldwide and find new applications of its technology in other industries like fashion on media.

Ken is the Senior Vice President of Alliance Partnership and Innovation at Bridge Alliance, an alliance of 34 premier telecommunication service providers covering Asia, Middle East and Africa. He is responsible for managing the alliance’s global partnerships, expanding the footprint and driving collaborations in the digital innovation space, including the Federated Edge and Insights-As-A-Service initiative.

Over the last decade, Ken expanded the alliance’s network of global strategic partners with collective operations in more than 100 countries, growing the number of alliance members from 12 to 34. He was also part of the core team behind Bridge Alliance’s IoT Shared Platform.

With more than thirty years of experience in the telecommunications space, Ken has worked in leadership roles across business development, sales operations, project management, in Dilithium Networks, Glenayre Electronics and Singtel.  

Ken graduated from City, University of London in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics Engineering.

Marco Li Vigni is Head of IoT Sales for North & South East Asia market areas, leading a team of sales and technical sales professionals. Marco is responsible for revenue growth of the Ericsson IoT Accelerator platform, supporting communications service providers throughout Asia-Pacific to offer differentiated solutions for their customers’ enterprise digital transformation.

With over then 20 years of experience in global professional services and ICT, as well as exposure across Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia-Pacific, Marco has helped companies in multiple industries to achieve their transformation objectives with the use of IoT and other technologies.

Marco has been with Ericsson since 2012, where he first led the Ericsson Global Energy & Utilities business before becoming responsible for IoT Accelerator sales in the Middle East and China, and more recently for the entire Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining Ericsson, Marco worked for global management consultant and systems integration companies, including Accenture, Deloitte and Capgemini, where he supported customers in the energy and manufacturing industries in the areas of strategic planning, organization and business process design, digital transformation, operational excellence and IT strategy.

Marco is based in Tokyo, where he lives with his wife and two children, and holds a degree in Economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

Sunil joined HPE in 2011, primarily focusing on business development, consulting-based selling for Edge and Telecom Industry Verticals. He is responsible for leading engagements in the wider Asia Pacific region related to customers’ challenges around network and digital transformation and Mobile Data explosion. He is also part of the APAC regional team-leading telecom and edge industry solution selling focusing on telecom/media solutions for 5G, Edge Computing and Cloud (AWS and Azure) infrastructure. 

Prior to his current role, Sunil led HPE Network and Digital Services and Actionable Customer Intelligence Solution Practice in the region. He has also worked at Openwave Mobility, Open Systems and Singtel Optus, and more than 20 years of experience focusing on industries such as Telecom, Logistics and Manufacturing.

Mr Phoenix Xiong is the Vice President of Huawei International PTE Ltd who is now in charge of Singtel Group Key Account since October 2020. His main responsibilities are to ensure the fulfillment of corporate strategies, strengthen the partnership with regional key accounts across the Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Phillippines, and achieve business results accordingly.

He joined Huawei in 2014 and has served several sales management position across Asia Pacific region including Executive Sales Manager in Huawei Philippines from 2014 to 2018 as well as Sales Director in Huawei Thailand from 2018 to 2020. Prior to joining Huawei, he had a 5-year career at Ericsson China serving various sales positions.

Phoenix graduates a BEng degree in Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, a MRes degree in Telecommunications from University College London, UK and a PhD degree in Computing Networks from University of Salford, UK.

With over 26 years of wireless experience to his role at LivePerson, mainly in new sales and business development. Eddie has led Global market development efforts with wireless network operators and operator groups such as Ooredoo Group, Vodafone Group, Telefonica, SingTel, China Unicom, China Mobile, Hutchison, SK Telecom, and KDDI. Prior to LivePerson Eddie was President of Tyntec Inc, where he was responsible for the global launch of the 3^rd ICV in the USA, New Sales and Business Development. In addition, Eddie has held senior leadership roles at Mosiak Solutions LLC, OnePhone LLC, Interop Technologies LLC, Iris Wireless LLC, VeriSign Inc. as well as key positions at GiantBear, @Mobile, and MetroMedia International.

Ananth Siva is Movius’ Chief Strategy and Development Officer. He bring over 25 years of experience in the technology industry and a wealth of experience in executive management, sales, marketing and operations.

Ananth joined Movius from 24/7 Customer Inc, where he was a key member of the leadership team that developed and delivered market leading, predictive analytics powered Consumer Interaction solutions, to transform digital sales and service in leading enterprises globally. Prior to joining 24/7, Ananth held strategic positions at Trimble Navigation and spent 19 years at IBM.

Ananth earned his BS in Electronics from the University of Bombay, India. He also holds an MBA from the UWS, Sydney and an Advanced Management Program from Wharton, Pennsylvania.

ST Liew is Vice President of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and President of Qualcomm’s business in Taiwan and South East Asia. In this role, Liew is responsible for leading all business and operational functions for Qualcomm in these regions. Prior to this, Liew served as Vice President and President of Qualcomm Taiwan. Liew has more than 30 years of experience leading business and engineering teams in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, Liew was President of Acer Smart Product Business Group.

Before joining Acer, Liew worked at Motorola where he held multiple business and technical roles, including leading Motorola’s design centers as well as in product management, product development, manufacturing and test engineering. Liew spent many years in Motorola responsible for a variety of R&D projects ranging from walkie-talkie, pagers and cellular products in markets all over the world.

Liew received his MBA from the National University of Singapore, and holds a BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK.

Mr. Paul Hodges is the Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific for Syniverse Technologies, based in Hong Kong and leading the company’s business in Asia Pacific with responsibilities for Sales teams and customer accounts throughout the region.

Mr Hodges has over 25 years’ senior management experience at some of the world’s leading telecoms organizations, including HK Telecom CSL, Hutchison Telecom, Nokia Siemens Networks, Smartfren, Globetouch and Syniverse.

While at HK Telecom CSL, Mr Hodges served as a Board Member of both Bridge Mobile Pte., headquartered in Singapore and of New World Mobility Ltd. in Hong Kong.  From 2008 to 2011, Paul served as the Chairman of the GSM Association, Asia Pacific RIG, which represented the interests of the Asia Pacific mobile operators on the GSM Association.

Mr Hodges is a fluent Cantonese speaker having lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1986.

Mr Hodges started his career in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force where he served for 10 years in a variety of positions. The majority of his Police career was spent in Criminal Investigation work at Police Headquarters as a Detective Senior Inspector, heading investigations into the large scale and international counterfeiting of currencies and other monetary documents. Throughout his time in the Police, Mr Hodges received a number of commendations for his work, from both commanding officers and overseas Law Enforcement Agencies.

Mr Hodges holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Physics, graduating in 1986 from the University of Nottingham in the U.K.
