Léon Dijksman is Chief Operating Officer at Sam Media, an international digital entertainment company, where he oversees day-to-day operations and ensures that strategy translates into execution. As a recognised expert in Digital Strategy, his work sits at the intersection of HRM, Marketing, and Technology, three domains he believes can no longer be treated separately in the organisation of tomorrow.

Léon’s central thesis is that the smarter AI becomes, the more indispensable human judgement becomes alongside it. He writes and speaks extensively on the paradox organisations face in 2026: as Large Language Models commoditise knowledge, the true competitive advantage shifts to human expertise, intuition, and authority. His recent writing explores how Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is reshaping the way brands build trust, arguing that AI agents increasingly reward organisations whose experts show visible, authentic, human-driven insight, and penalise those who rely purely on algorithmic content.

He is a strong advocate for redesigning HRM around what he calls “meaning workers”: professionals who interpret AI output, safeguard ethical frameworks, and provide the contextual leadership and strategic intuition that no model can replicate.

In addition to his role at Sam Media, Léon is a board member of the Dutch Foundation for Mobile Services Codes of Conduct, contributing to governance and standards in the digital services sector.

Léon regularly publishes on the future of work, smart marketing, and technological innovation, helping organisations navigate the shift from automation for efficiency to automation that amplifies human potential.
