Total alliance membership base is now eighteen
Bridge Mobile Alliance, Asia Pacific’s largest mobile alliance group announced the joining of Siemens as its latest technology associate member today. Siemens is one of the world’s largest solution providers across six major industries – Communications, Healthcare, Transportation, Energy, Lighting and Automation, and a key player in communications solutions for mobile, fixed and enterprise networks.
Siemens is joining the alliance’s Associate Membership scheme, which aims to foster closer collaboration between member operators and technology players across the mobile service development value chain, to develop Asia-centric regional mobile services. The Associate Membership scheme, since its launch in August 2005, has attracted numerous key global technology players. This includes Axalto, Ericsson, Gemplus, Hewlett Packard, LogicaCMG, Motorola, Nokia, QUALCOMM and ZTE. With the addition of Siemens, the total alliance membership base including its member operators is now eighteen.
