We’re delighted to win one of this year’s inaugural GSMA Foundry Awards for Excellence for our Federated Edge Hub and Interconnection Telco Edge Trial project.

As part of a GSMA Foundry Telco Edge Cloud trial, Bridge Alliance, MobiledgeX, Singtel and Telefonica successfully demonstrated a world-first cross-region interconnection of two heterogeneous multi-access edge computing (MEC) platforms for meeting multi-market edge infrastructure needs of enterprises, developers and partners. This could allow edge applications to be deployed across different edge platforms and regions served by each hub.
The GSMA Foundry is a platform for cross-industry collaboration and business development, allowing GSMA members and industry players to come together to develop real-world solutions to industry challenges, initiate commercial trials and scale proven solutions.
