Mark Chong
Deputy CEO, AIS
Mr. Mark Chong is Deputy CEO at Advanced Info Service Plc. He is responsible for Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Business, Engineering Operations, IT Solutions and Fixed Broadband.
He was the Singtel Group Chief Technology Officer from April 2017 until December 2022. Before that, he was Singtel’s Chief Executive Officer, International, from January 2013 to March 2017.
From Oct 2010 to January 2013, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS), the Group’s associate in Thailand.
He joined Singtel in 1997 and has held various executive positions in sales and marketing as well as being Executive Vice President of Networks. He had a previous assignment in Thailand from 1999 to 2000. Before Singtel, he was a member of the Singapore Administrative Service from 1990 to 1997.
Mark represented Singtel on the Boards of Globe Telecom, Bharti Infratel, OpenNet, CSLox(Thailand) and other submarine cable joint venture companies. He is currently a Board Member of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering and Master in Research in Electronic Systems from ENSERG, Grenoble, France, on a Singapore Government scholarship. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is a senior fellow with the Singapore Computer Society.
Pratthana Leelapanang
Chief Consumer Business Officer, AIS
Mr Pratthana Leelapanang is Chief Consumer Business Officer of Advanced Info Service Plc., focusing on marketing and sales for mass segments as well as digital product and services and all retail shop.
Mr Pratthana Leelapanang has been with Advanced Info Service Plc. for 22 years. He worked as an engineer for 6 years (1996- 2002) and was responsible for planning GSM and NMT switching network infrastructure, and value added network infrastructure. In 2003, he moved on to the new role in marketing area as the Wireless Service Planning & Development Manager. After that, he was promoted to the Vice President Value Added Service Business and the Senior Vice President Digital Product & Service in 2008 and 2012 respectively. One year later, he was appointed as the Executive Vice President Marketing. He has been the Acting Chief Marketing Officer since 2016 and then the position changed to be Acting Chief Consumer Business Officer. Until October 2017, he got promoted to be Chief Consumer Business Officer.
Mr Pratthana graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kasetsart University. He received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in System Science and Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Dr Ong Geok Chwee
CEO, Bridge Alliance
Geok Chwee is the Chief Executive Officer of Bridge Alliance, an alliance of 34 premier telecommunication service providers covering Asia, Middle East and Africa which serve over a billion mobile subscribers. She oversees the strategy and operations of Bridge Alliance, delivering regional initiatives that enable Bridge Alliance telco members to collaborate as close partners and deliver cross border solutions for multinational corporations.
With more than 20 years of experience in the info-communications industry, Geok Chwee has extensive experience in managing the incubation, development and launch of new technologies and businesses in the enterprise sector. She championed the incubation of emerging growth businesses focusing on Platform-as-a-Service, Internet of Things, and Big Data analytics, with responsibilities spanning business development, product development, product management and product marketing.

Bidyut Dumra

Bidyut Dumra is the Head of Innovation & Ecosystems in DBS’ Innovation Group. Under his leadership, DBS has conceptualised and delivered various outcome-driven programmes that fosters collaboration between DBS employees and educational organisations, government agencies, start-ups, fintech companies, as well as social enterprises.
Bidyut has spent over 15 years in the corporate world. Prior to joining DBS, Bidyut was the Head of Cathay Pacific Airways’ Innovation Centre. In this role, he led the team to create virtual assistants for the company’s customer service centre, develop 3D scanners to help engineers detect defects, as well as over 15 mobile apps for customers and employees.
In parallel to his corporate career, Bidyut is also an entrepreneur. He has co-founded a Bollywood film distribution company, Mind Blowing Films, a kid’s fashion label, Baebeeboo, and also started a boutique consultancy that amongst other services, mentored and groomed start-ups. He started his career as a Television Producer, managing a 20-member production crew for various shows.

Henry Calvert

Henry joined the GSMA in December 2013, and is responsible for the delivery of the Future Networks programme. A key programme of the GSMA’s strategic focus, to deliver industry scale for IP Communications and 5G, whilst considering Network Economic challenges for the Mobile industry as it transitions to a 5G Era.
Previously he worked for the SingTel Group and has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications sector, both in Networks and IT portfolios and has been involved in the deployment of mobile networks in over 10 operations across 10 different countries. Henry designed and built Optus’ 3G + LTE mobile network, all IP network and managed the product development transformation. Bruce Lam

Mr Lam Kwok Shing, Bruce joined HKT in 2011 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Consumer of HKT in July 2023. Nikolai Dobberstein

Nikolai Dobberstein is the Global Leader of Kearney’s Communications, Media & Technology Practice and the Managing Partner of the Malaysian Practice. He has been involved in multiple business and digital transformation programs of technology companies and telecom operators in Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa. Nikolai was the lead partner for Kearney’s collaboration with the WEF on the Future of Production in ASEAN and a member of the Indian Government’s Innovation Taskforce in 2016/17.
Before joining Kearney in India in 2011, Nikolai was the Exco member for New Businesses at Maxis, Malaysia. Nikolai had P&L responsibility for all data and digital businesses and helped propel Maxis into one of the global top 15 data operators. Before Maxis, Nikolai was 12 years with McKinsey & Company. He was a Diretor on the Board of Scicom (MSC) Bhd from 2005 to 2017 and Exco member of the Global Wireless Broadband Alliance. He has spent the last 30 years working in Asia, mostly in Southeast Asia and India.

Matt Williams
Managing Director, Customer Solutions, Optus
Matt Williams is Managing Director, Customer Solutions. He joined Optus in April 2019 and leads the core products that serve Optus’s consumer customers.
A highly experienced executive with over 20 years’ experience in telecoms and technology in markets around the world. Matt joined Optus from Vodafone where he was part of the global leadership team and held roles spanning strategy, marketing and commercial management. He has led country business units in Vodafone operating companies, and held leadership roles in the Group’s global headquarters. He most recently led the Consumer Business for Vodafone in New Zealand, and prior to that was the Group Commercial Director leading marketing, product and commercial initiatives across the world-wide business. Earlier in his career Matt worked in strategy consulting and investment banking. Matt has also held a number of board director roles.
Matt has lived and worked in cities around the world. He has an MBA with Distinction from London Business School, where he also led the Student Association and was a member of the school’s Governing Board. Frederick Chui
Chief Commercial Officer, PCCW Global
Frederick joined Hong Kong Telecom (HKT) in 1991 and held senior positions in solutions design, product management, product development and marketing.
Until 2008, Frederick was the Senior Vice President of PCCW Global’s International Products and Solutions division and was responsible for managing PCCW Global’s product management and development activities, as well as overseeing marketing and presales support activities around the world. In 2008, Frederick was appointed head of Eastern Europe, Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania sales and business development operations.
In early 2011, Frederick became Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Sales. He was responsible for overseeing PCCW Global’s business development in data sales as well as presales activities, access management and marketing strategies. In 2012, he became the Senior Vice President, Global Data Sales and Presales and, in 2019, the Chief Commercial Officer of PCCW Global.
Before joining HKT, Frederick engaged in the development of products and solutions for a number of telecoms operators serving the Asia Pacific region.
Frederick graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor of Engineering and holds an Executive MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Frederick has been serving on the MEF Board (Metro Ethernet Forum) since 2018 and he is also a Committee member of the HK Trade Development Council ICT Services Advisory Committee.

Bill Chang
Chairman, Bridge Alliance; CEO, Digital Infraco, Singtel
Mr Bill Chang is the current Chairman of Bridge Alliance. He was appointed CEO, Digital InfraCo, Singtel’s new standalone infrastructure unit, on 1 June 2023. Prior to that, Bill was the CEO, Group Enterprise since 16 July 2012 and assumed the role of CEO, Regional Data Centre Business on 1 July 2022.
Bill joined Singtel in November 2005 as Executive Vice President of Corporate Business and subsequently became Managing Director, Business Group.
Bill is the Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees and a board member of the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ International Advisory Technology Governance and Innovations Panel. He co-chaired the Future Jobs and Skills Sub-committee of the Committee on the Future Economy of Singapore from 2016 to 2017.
For his contributions to Singapore, Bill was awarded the Public Service Star in 2017 and the Public Service Medal in 2007. He also received the Singapore Computer Society’s IT Leader of the Year award in 2017 and the honorary Fellow of the Society in 2014.
Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University, Australia and attended the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
Anna Yip
Deputy CEO, Singtel Singapore, CEO Business Development, Singtel
Ms Anna Yip was appointed Deputy CEO, Singtel Singapore on 1 June 2023. In addition, Anna also assumed the new role of CEO, Business Development on 1 June 2023.
Prior to this, Anna was CEO, Consumer Singapore since 1 April 2021. She joined Singtel as Deputy CEO, Consumer Singapore on 7 December 2020. Before joining Singtel, Anna was CEO and Executive Director of Smartone Telecommunications, driving its operations in Hong Kong and Macau since 2016. Under her leadership, Smartone was named Best Mobile Carrier by the Communication Association of Hong Kong in 2019. Prior to Smartone, Anna headed up Mastercard’s operations in Hong Kong and Macau. She was previously a partner with McKinsey & Company in Greater China where she led both the Financial Institutional Group and payments practice.
Anna was appointed to the Board of Commissioners of Telkomsel on 1 June 2021. She also sits on the Board of Advisors of Singapore Management University’s Institute of Service Excellence and is an independent non-executive director of BUPA (Asia) Limited, as well as a Council member of the Singapore Cancer Society.
Anna holds a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy in Management Studies from Oxford University and a First Class Honours degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Manoj Prasanna Kumar

Manoj Prasanna Kumar is the Chief Technology Officer of Singtel Digital InfraCo and leads software architecture and cyber security of all software and hardware systems across all business units of Singtel Digital InfraCo. DigitalInfraCo is Singtel’s growth company that incorporates the Group’s regional data center business, subsea cable, satellite carrier businesses, AI cloud business as well as Paragon – Singtel’s unified platform for 5G, edge computing and multi cloud orchestration. Manoj leads the design, development and roll out of Digital InfraCo’s Network Fabric as well as Singtel’s AI cloud to offer GPU as a service to Enterprises and public sector customers. Manoj’s charter is to transform every business under Singtel Digital InfraCo with a software defined digital customer experience that will enhance operational efficiency, customer experience and unlock new value for Digital InfraCo.
Prior to his role as CTO, Manoj was the Head of Enterprise platforms, the software product house under Singtel Digital InfraCo where he lead the design, engineering and delivery of award winning Singtel’s Paragon platform which is Industry’s first all-in-one orchestration platform that unifies network, compute and applications in a single platform for Enterprise customers. Singtel Paragon platform also powers the Enterprise 5G and MEC offering for Singtel’s enterprise business. Singtel also utilizes Paragon platform to deploy 5G and MEC for all enterprise customers in Singapore and the region through Singtel’s associates. Manoj has also spearheaded the 5G and MEC deployment for all the Singtel customers including public sector customers and large enterprises. He has led numerous collaboration initiatives for Singtel Group with hyper scalars like AWS and Microsoft to design an infrastructure agnostic MEC solution that is compliant with hyper scalar stack (Azure and AWS) to ensure seamless adoption of MEC and 5G for Enterprise customers.

Will Sanghyuk Cho

Mr. Sanghyuk (Will) Cho is VP and Head of Strategic Partnerships at SK Telecom. SK Telecom is South Korea’s leading mobile network operator holding close to 50% market share, with a diverse ICT business portfolio ranging from telecommunications to new ICT businesses including media, security, commerce and mobility.
Mr Cho is responsible for strategic partnerships at SK Telecom and its subsidiaries. Prior to this, he led strategic partnerships at SK Planet, an affiliate of SK Telecom from 2011 to 2018 where he played a key role in corporate development and new business development.

Daichi Nozaki

Daichi Nozaki began his journey with SoftBank Corp. in 2013, bringing with him a keen focus on growth and results. Andrew Davies
CEO, Syniverse
Before joining Syniverse as CFAO in June 2020, Andrew Davies served as the CFO of Sprint Corporation from July 2018 until the closing of its merger with T-Mobile USA. Before that, he spent four years serving as Group CFO for Amsterdam-based VEON.
Prior to joining VEON, Mr. Davies spent more than a decade with Vodafone Group holding CFO positions in Japan, Turkey, and India, before being named CFO of Verizon Wireless in the U.S., which at the time was a joint venture between Vodafone and Verizon Communications. He started his career with KPMG in Wales before serving in senior finance roles with GE, Honeywell, and the Caudwell Group in both the U.K. and the U.S.
Mr. Davies graduated with an honors degree in mathematics from London’s Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, is an Associate of the Royal College of Science, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Paul Hodges

Mr. Paul Hodges is the Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific for Syniverse Technologies, based in Hong Kong and leading the company’s business in Asia Pacific with responsibilities for Sales teams and customer accounts throughout the region.
Mr Hodges has over 27 years' senior management experience at some of the world's leading telecoms organizations, including HK Telecom CSL, Hutchison Telecom, Nokia Siemens Networks, Smartfren, Globetouch and Syniverse.
While at HK Telecom CSL, Mr Hodges served as a Board Member of both Bridge Mobile Pte., headquartered in Singapore and of New World Mobility Ltd. in Hong Kong. From 2008 to 2011, Paul served as the Chairman of the GSM Association, Asia Pacific RIG, which represented the interests of the Asia Pacific mobile operators on the GSM Association.
Mr Hodges is a fluent Cantonese speaker having lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1986. Mr Hodges started his career in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force where he served for 10 years in a variety of positions. The majority of his Police career was spent in Criminal Investigation work at Police Headquarters as a Detective Senior Inspector, heading investigations into the large scale and international counterfeiting of currencies and other monetary documents. Throughout his time in the Police, Mr Hodges received a number of commendations for his work, from both commanding officers and overseas Law Enforcement Agencies.

Jamie Lin
