Bridge Alliance, the global alliance of premier mobile operators and INSEAD, The Business School for the World have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly launch the Bridge Alliance Global Executive Management Programme (Bridge Alliance GEMP), a five-day immersive leadership journey in Singapore that will empower rising talent from Bridge Alliance’s member operators (BMOs) and technology partners with innovative and strategic thinking skills to transform them into the trailblazing leaders of tomorrow.

Through expert-led sessions and collaborative learning at INSEAD’s Asia Campus in Singapore, participants will explore how emerging technologies are reshaping the telco landscape, and gain the strategic frameworks and tools needed to lead confidently through disruption, drive innovation, and future-proof their organisations. They will also undertake practical project work and continuous learning related to the industry and their company following the coursework.

At the MoU signing ceremony at INSEAD held on 30 May 2025, Dr Ong Geok Chwee, CEO of Bridge Alliance, said, “We are absolutely delighted to launch this unique and pioneering programme with an award-winning business school like INSEAD. As we prepare to navigate a challenging and dynamic future, efforts like this to nurture a pipeline of next-generation leaders throughout our membership are critical to sustaining our collective growth and innovation, and will build on our relationships and networks for future collaboration across the ecosystem. We’re excited to welcome the first batch of talent to Singapore to kickstart the creation of an incredible alumni!”

Professor Sameer Hasija, Dean of INSEAD Asia Campus and Dean of Executive Education, said, “We are pleased to partner with Bridge Alliance to design and co-create a unique programme for the telecom leaders. This initiative reflects the core philosophy of executive education, draws on our faculty’s expertise, and supports the shared vision between INSEAD and Bridge Alliance to empower leaders across APAC and beyond.”

Applications are now open and the inaugural run is expected in the last quarter of 2025. Following a virtual kick-off and preparation via INSEAD’s Learning Hub, participants will arrive for the residential segment of the Bridge Alliance GEMP at the INSEAD Asia Campus in the Knowledge Hub district of Singapore, where they will gain insights from INSEAD faculty and alumni, Bridge Alliance senior management and industry leaders, besides engaging in diverse networking opportunities over five days.

Participants will follow a structured, five-stage strategy formulation process developed by the Programme Director, INSEAD Chaired Professor of Management Science Philip Parker, specifically for the telecom industry, that integrates management frameworks and industry-specific real work challenges as case studies. They will gain insights in strategy execution, including leading diverse teams, managing change, and driving transformation effectively. At the end of the residential module, participants will undertake Action Learning Project Work with more collaboration, discussion and continuous learning, and will be awarded joint certification by Bridge Alliance and INSEAD.
